We're based in Worthing and work across the West Sussex coast, from Shoreham in the east to Littlehampton in the west, and up onto the downs behind.

Whose permission you need
Which authority handles a Tree Preservation Order depends on where the tree stands, and the boundaries do not follow the way people describe where they live. Findon is Arun; High Salvington, a mile down the hill, is Worthing. Lancing and Shoreham are Adur. We check the register before quoting rather than assuming, and we make the application as part of the job.
Conservation areas catch a lot of people out. Old Shoreham, Shoreham Beach, Findon village and several parts of Worthing are all designated, and inside one every tree above 75mm diameter needs six weeks' written notice before any work.
Everywhere in between
We work throughout Worthing itself, including Broadwater, Durrington, Tarring, Salvington and West Worthing, and out to Steyning, Bramber, Upper Beeding, East Preston and Angmering. For larger jobs we will travel further, so it is worth asking.
